A stranded astronaut, struggling for survival on a mysterious desert planet, trying to find the home he longs for.

Director Statement

The Burden is a visual reflection of existence, belonging, and the quiet weight each of us carries. Through symbolic imagery and a solitary voice, the film explores the cycle of arrival, endurance, and release — and the endless search for home.

Screenings

The Burden has been officially selected and screened at international festivals including the International Animated Film Festival ANIMAFEST GDAŃSK, the Ottawa Canadian Film Festival (OCan), the Chaniartoon International Comic & Animation Festival, the Lethbridge International Film Festival, and the Cinema House Sweden Short Film Festival.
